Jenny and John Jarvis offer you the warmest of welcome to our elegant and beautifully furnished bed and breakfast between Monmouth and Symonds Yat by the River Wye. Our superior b and b accommodation near Ross on Wye, Herefordshire, is situated in the Wye Valley on the edge of the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire and the County of Monmouthshire.
At a recent inspection we were delighted to have been graded as 4 Gold Stars Highly Commended and to achieve the AA Breakfast Award. We were also chosen to be included in the current AA Best B and B Handbook. The kitchen was awarded 5 stars for excellence under food hygiene regulations in 2008. We also have level 2 accessibility.
With its range of inclusive accommodation Portland House is considered to be one of the best venues for families and groups, besides being an ideal place to stay for couples of all ages and types.
